In response, we\u2019ve developed processes to hold each other accountable outside of the state. But why can\u2019t we seem to get them right?<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-canvas-width=\"155.96916176470586\">\n<p>This essay examines the context in which these community accountability models emerged and analyzes the pitfalls we\u2019ve encountered in trying to apply them.
